EMS Designation
NCE members bear the designation of Equity Marketing Specialist or "EMS" after achieving a high level of education in real estate marketing, real estate counseling, real estate taxation, real estate financing, real estate management, and real estate exchange as determined by the National Council of Exchangors.

Tax-Deferral
Often, EMS real estate brokers can help clients achieve a tax-free exchange of real property through the tax deferral provisions of Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. These tax-free Section 1031 exchanges allow the compounding of real estate equity instead of bleeding it through the unnecessary payment of capital gains taxes.

Unique Marketplace
NCE members meet frequently in local, regional, and national groups to help each other solve their clients' real estate problems.

National Conferences
NCE has two national conferences each year. Exchangors from all over the United States meet, problem solve, and initiate transactions at these conferences.
